STEPS TO EXCEL..!!

When I was a kid, people would constantly speak in admiration of those who were excellent in whatever they were doing. These could be students who achieved academic excellence, successful business people, top athletes, celebrities & so on. Envy aside, no one ever spent any time to think about why or how they were excellent. It was seemingly natural for most to just accept that certain people were meant for excellence while others weren’t.

If you have ever looked at the achievements of others and thought “Wow, if only I can do that..!”, or if you have ever wished that you can perform better, earn more money, make more friends, have better health, achieve higher level of success & so on, here’s the holler-out to you : "you are capable of all of that. Everyone has all the potential in the world to do whatever it is they dream of or want"

Following these key principles of personal excellence will go a long way in bringing you to excellence :

Step 1 : Dream it
Everything begins in the heart & mind. Every great achievement began in the mind of one person. They dared to dream & to believe that it was possible. Take some time to allow yourself to ask What if..?” think big. Don’t let negative thinking discourage you. You want to be a dreamer. Dream of the possibilities for yourself, your family & for others. If you had a dream that you let grow cold, re-ignite the dream..! Fan the flames. Life is too short to let it go.

Step 2 : Believe it.
Yes, your dream needs to be big. It needs to be something that is seemingly beyond your capabilities. But it also must be believable. You must be able to say that if certain things take place, if others help, if you work hard enough, though it is a big dream, it can still be done. Good example : A person with no college education can dream that he will build a $50 million-a-year company. That is big, but believable. Bad example : That a 90-year-old woman with arthritis will someday run a marathon in under three hours. It is big all right, but also impossible. She should instead focus on building a $50 million-a-year business & she better get a move on..!

Step 3 : See it.
The great achievers have a habit. They see things. They picture themselves walking around their CEO office in their new $25 million corporate headquarters, even while they are sitting on a folding chair in their garage headquarters. Great free-throw shooters in the NBA picture the ball going through the basket. PGA golfers picture the ball going straight down the fairway. World-class speakers picture themselves speaking with energy & emotion. All of this grooms the mind to control the body to carry out the dream.

Step 4 : Tell it.
One reason many dreams never go anywhere is because the dreamer keeps it all to himself. It is a quiet dream that only lives inside of his mind. The one who wants to achieve their dream must tell that dream to many people. One reason : As we continually say it, we begin to believe it more & more. If we are talking about it then it must be possible. Another reason : It holds us accountable. When we have told others, it spurs us on to actually doing it so we don’t look foolish.

Step 5: Plan it.
Every dream must take the form of a plan. The old saying that you get what you plan for is so true. Your dream won’t just happen. You need to sit down, on a regular basis & plan out your strategy for achieving the dream. Think through all of the details. Break the whole plan down into small, workable parts. Then set a time frame for accomplishing each task on your dream plan.

Step 6 : Work it.
Boy, wouldn’t life be grand if we could quit before this one..! Unfortunately the successful are usually the hardest workers. While the rest of the world is sitting on their sofas watching reruns of Gilligan's Island, achievers are working on their goal achieving their dream. I have an equation that I work with : Your short-term tasks, multiplied by time, equal your long-term accomplishments. If you work on it each day, eventually you will achieve your dream. War and Peace was written, in longhand, page by page.

Step 7 : Enjoy it.
When you have reached your goal & you are living your dream, be sure to enjoy it. In fact, enjoy the trip too. Give yourself some rewards along the way. Give yourself a huge reward when you get there. Help others enjoy it. Be gracious and generous. Use your dream to better others. Then go back to No. 1 & dream a little bigger this time..!

STRIVE TO SUCCESS..!!
Ohayou min'na, ...

Today I want talk about "how to strive to success". Before that, all of you must know the meaning of the success. The question is "what is success?".

Success (the opposite of failure) is the status of having achieved and accomplished an aim or objective. Being successful means the achievement of desired visions and planned goals. Furthermore, success can be a certain social status that describes a prosperous person that could also have gained fame for its favorable outcome. The dictionary describes success as the following : “attaining wealth, prosperity and/or fame.

"As long as it's for the right cause, there's nothing wrong with playing dirty"
-Kureo Mado (Tokyo Ghoul)

Step to success :

1. Know your "GOAL"

Have a clear & specific goal. It could be a short-term or a long-term goal. Without a precise vision of your goal, how will you measure your progress & know when you have achieved success? Don't shy away from being unconventional and innovative. Your imagination is the only limit. Think big but keep it realistic.

2. "PLAN" & set your "MILESTONES"

Once you know your goal, plan your next actions in a sequential manner. These actions would be your milestones & each one of them should be have a deadline. Be as firm as possible with yourself. There could be various ways of doing something, be open to them all & choose the one that's perfect for you. If you want to try something new, go ahead & try. But plan first!

3. "EXECUTE" your plans

Now you have your eyes fixed on that goal & you have the plan ready. What do you do next? Get going. All the planning & strategies amount to nothing, if you don't execute them. So, get up & do whatever it takes to reach that goal. Follow your plan diligently & if you need to acquire new skills, there are tons of ways to do that. Seek help if needed. Just do the work.

4. Be "FLEXIBLE"

The plan you made before are the checkpoints to help you to stay on the right path & keep you focused on your goal. However, as you start making progress, you might see scope for improvements & also unforeseen challenges. Be flexible enough to amend your plan so that these challenges are taken care of you end up with a far better than your plan the one you set up with.

Mind Map

NETWORK..!!

Hey min'na !

Today I want to share to all my reader about network. Network basic is the first topic the I learn in subject computer science in this semester.

Network is the collection of the computers & devices that connected together via communication devices and transmission media.

Basic Concept Of Network

Type Of Communication Device :

1. Router
  • A communication device that connect multiple computers or others routers together & transmit data to its correct destination on a network.
2. Dial-up Modem
  • A communication device that can convert digital signals to analog signal & analog signals to digital signals.
3. Network Card
  • A communication devices that enable a computer or device that does not have built-in networking capability to access a network.
4. Switch
  • A connection device similar to hub but more sophisticated including functionality that allows it to control & manage data transmission.
5. Hub
  • A connection device that allows multiple connection to the network.
6. Wireless Access Point (WAP)
  • A central communication device that allows computers & devices to transfer data wireless among themselves or to transfer data wireless to a wire network using wireless technologies such as wi-fi.

Two Types Of Transmission Media

1. Guided Media (wired)
  • Shielded Twisted Pair
  • Untwisted Pair (UTP)
  • Coaxial Cable
  • Fiber Optic
2. Unguided Media (wireless)
  • Cellular Radio
  • Infrared
  • Microwave
  • Satelite

NETWORK ARCHITECTURE
(design of computers, devices & media in a network)

Client/Server
  • A client/server network is a network in which the shared files & applications are in the server but network users (client) can still store files on their individual PC's. A server is a computer that shares information & resources with other computers on a network. A client is a computer which request services or files from a server computer.

Peer-To-Peer
  • Peer-to-peer network is a network with all the nodes acting as both servers & clients. A PC can access another PC & can also provides files to other PC's. With peer-to-peer network no server is needed each computer in the network is called a peer. All computers in the peer-to-peer network has equal responsibilities to use the resources available on the network.

NETWORK TOPOLOGY
(a network topology refers to the layout of the computers & devices in a communications network)

3 types of network topology :

  • Ring Topology

A network topology that is set up in a circular fashion in which data travels around the ring in one direction & each device on the ring acts as a repeater to keep the signal strong as it travels. Each device incorporates a receiver for the incoming signal & a transmitter to send the data on to the next device in the ring. The network is dependent on the ability of the signal to travel around the ring. When a device sends data, it must travel through each device on the ring until it reaches its destination. Every node is a critical link. In a ring topology, there is no server computer present. All nodes work as a server & repeat the signal. The disadvantage of this topology is that if one node stops working, the entire network is affected or stops working.

  • Star Topology

In local area networks with a star topology, each network host is connected to a central hub with a point-to-point connection. In Star topology every node (computer workstation or any other peripheral) is connected to a central node called hub or switch. The switch is the server & the peripherals are the clients. The network does not necessarily have to resemble a star to be classified as a star network, but all of the nodes on the network must be connected to one central device. All traffic that traverses the network passes through the central hub. The hub acts as a signal repeater. The star topology is considered the easiest topology to design and implement. An advantage of the star topology is the simplicity of adding additional nodes. The primary disadvantage of the star topology is that the hub represents a single point of failure.

  • Bus Topology

In local area networks where bus topology is used, each node is connected to a single cable. Each computer or server is connected to the single bus cable. A signal from the source travels in both directions to all machines connected on the bus cable until it finds the intended recipient. If the machine address does not match the intended address for the data, the machine ignores the data. Alternatively, if the data matches the machine address, the data is accepted. Because the bus topology consists of only one wire, it is rather inexpensive to implement when compared to other typologies. However, the low cost of implementing the technology is offset by the high cost of managing the network. Additionally, because only one cable is utilized, it can be the single point of failure.

"MY AIM , MY DESTINY"

Assalamualaikum and ohayou min'na,
Welcome again to my blog ...

I'm now further studying at Collage Matriculation Pahang in Gambang. I was offered Two Years Program in Science. I was bit stumped because all pf my friends who also went to matriculation got One Year Program. I as matriculation's student have my own goals to be successful on future. Well, I think all people have their goals in to make it become reality.

What means aim..?? Aim means a purpose or intention, a desired outcome and also known as objective. So, what's your objective to become a successful person especially for us as a student..??

Today I want to share to all of you about my aim. My aim when I step in Collage Matriculation Pahang is to achieve my goal in my examination to earn pointer 4.0 in every semester. All student of matriculation want to get 4.0, right..?? Same with me. But, the question is "did we have enough study to get that pointer..??". I'm want to make my whole family and all my friends proud with me. Since my PSPM 1 result was quite disappointing, so I determined to change myself. Gratefully, even though my PSPM 1 result was not very flying with colors but I thankful because I still stay here. For all my teacher that teach me, I want to say "i'm sorry" because make you all disappointing with my result. From now, In Syaa Allah I will try my best to change  my attitude and make my family, my friends, my teachers and people that always support me until now proud with me especially my parents.

Now, I want talk about destiny. Destiny means fate is synonymous with masculine like a divine command and fate. There is no one can avoid from destiny. It will happen no matter what you do but before you get bogged down worrying about what the distant future holds, remember what Winston Churchill said "It is a mistake to look too far ahead. Only one link in the chain of destiny can be handled at a time". Actually we can change our destiny but the question is "How we can change it..??".

As a Muslim, our prayer is our weapon. Pray to Allah for everything that you want. Even if you're a big sinner, you need always rely on Allah because only HIM that can do everything and can change everything include our destiny.

"courage is the most important of all the virtues because without courage, you can't practice any other virtue consistently"

In this world, all people always talk about the successful in life. We know that who want to be success person its start from zero to hero. We must be hardworking and brave to ask anything that we don't know and don't ever think about shy when we want to ask something. We shouldn't choose to be quiet when we don't understand what we learn because it'll bring more difficult to understand the new topic that we'll learn next. If you want to success in your life, you must believe in yourself and you must ignore all the problem that will destroy you to succeed in your life especially don't ever involved in love.
